Habakukk 2:2-The Vision

Hello! I am Kiana Shanee' Caldwell.

I came to Mexico for the first time in March 2021 with an organization named WMA (World Mission Alliance) Even though I had been a member of the organization for about three years and knew I would one day be a "missionary", I didn't know what that meant and had not been released to go. The first trip was 10 days in Mexico City. I gained experience, fought new levels of spiritual warfare and was given divine relationships. The greatest of these is my spiritual mother. She invited me to return to Mexico City with her the following year in February 2022. To my surprise she also invited me to lengthen my originally one week trip to three and to venture to a place named Manzanillo. As soon as I arrived, significant confirmation began to show me that the Lord desired me to be here long term. Quickly following, an invitation from a well respected church planter and pastor was extended for me to move here. So, on March 27th 2022 I did it! I lived there about 5 months. I lived as a local and tended a small home myself, even hanging clothes to dry! I learned to adjust to the culture and worked in the community. This included time at a local school helping the children learn about God and study English. I also taught a bible study into the Passion translation of Song of Songs comprised of both Spanish and English speakers.

I am back in the United States for now. I am a member of the Body of Christ around the nation and am a part of multiple prayer groups and ministries. I live mostly as an undercover agent answering divine appointments set for me by my Father and an intercessor for revival.

Ultimately, God has placed in my heart a strong desire to institute a home and to rescue victims of trafficking. Many things are needed to materialize this. Massive resources in the forms of equipment, skills, expansive land, food, furnishing, teachers, supplies, clothing, prayer warriors, house mothers and fathers, planners administrators etc. The vision requires adaptability as God leads me to be radical and look different from the world. I believe there will be a business component as well that will employ those post liberation, to give them not only security but a creative outlet and purpose.

Visions and promises from the Lord are often unfathomable, unachievable and unbelievable without Him. I do not know how all the pieces will come together but I try my best to stay obedient to every step. I know it is not about me. It is about the seed of my life that will give birth to future generations. Providing space and opportunity for children to become what they were made to be is my passion.

As a child from a broken home, I am familiar to what happens to the unprotected. I know too well how it impacts a life. I understand the devastation. Early intervention is what has to happen, before the lies and cycles of the enemy settle in. I want to be part of a group of people who look these children in the eyes and reflect Jesus to them. I want to rattle and dismantle the traumatic images they have witnessed, every stronghold build up in their mind and calm the storms in their hearts with Love. I want to introduce them to Truth.

The journey for me is just beginning as I explore what it means to follow God completely. I left my comforts, my country, my car and my career to set out in unknown waters. I am more than a missionary. I do not fit into boxes and God does not want me to. This can be very difficult at times. A gradual building in me is taking place as God opens up the world to me just as He did the apostles. They remained fluid just like the waters they sailed on and like the ones I saw before me everyday in Manzanillo. What He is doing is beyond what I can ask think or imagine and just when I feel like I am not enough, that my dreams are too big, Gods grace comes in like a flood.

I invite you to sojourn with me as I document my travels.
